Objective and Regulations

OBJECTIVES OF THE LEAGUE

1. To promote sportsmanship, and unity among pool players.
2. To offer rules, structure and enhance the sportsmanship of the game.
3. To create a fun and supported pool environment in the Airdrie community.
4. To allow for players to get the maximum enjoyment out of Pool in Airdrie.
5. To give local business the opportunity to support and help Pool grow in Airdrie.

REGULATIONS AND RIGHTS

1. Teams and individuals shall be entitled to the rights of, and be subject to, League rules and regulations as established by the League.
2. In order to assure good sportsmanship, a team or individual may be expelled for poor sportsmanship or any good reason considered detrimental to the League.
3. Any parties expelled may request a review from the League and findings shall be recognized as final.
4. The location shall make available the table at the designated time and shall retain the right to remove players (whether from his/her own team or the opponents) from his/her establishment.
5. Any player may be added to a team roster at any time if properly approved. If any player has played for a team in the current season, they must have a release from the Captain and approval of the League prior to joining any other team in the same league. If any team is dissolved during the season, its players may join other teams in the League, unless the team is expelled for un-sportsman like conduct.
6. All players must be of legal drinking age to play in the licensed establishment where the match is to be played and are at least 18 years of age.
